We set out from the Columbus monument.Ton its right we find the largest and most complete medieval dockyards in the world, wich house the Maritime Museum.On our way-out, we can contemplate the city from the sea in the Golondrinas, double decker motor-launches which tour the harbour. Following the route around the Moll de la Fusta, we can enjoy the splendid view from its bars and restaurants.

Maritime Museum
Housed in the Reials Drassanes (Royal Dockyards), it shows the exhibition "Live the Great Adventure of the Sea", a unique spectacle, where visitors can board the Royal Galley of Juan de Austria,row like a galley slave, survive a storm on the high
seas aboard a sailing ship, emigrate to the New World on a steamboat or dive to the sea bed in one of the firts ever
submarines.
Imax - Port Vell
The world"s only fully Imax cinema with three projection systems: Imax, Omnimax and 3D,where visitors can enjoy the most spectacular cinema on a 27 metre high screen.
L'Aquarium de Barcelona
A walk along the bottom of the sea through 21 aquariums and a big
oceanarium where the visitor has the feeling to be diving among sharks
and more than 8.000 fishes. In the macrospace Planeta Aqua, you can
discover the strangest beings in the planet: living fossils, piranhas,
caimans, penguins, as well as multiple interactive spaces. Recent
opening of the exhibition on sea horses, with species such as the

Catalan History Museum
The Museum shows the history and memory of Catalonia from different perspectives.The permanent exhibition consists of an interactive voyage from the distant past of prehistory to modern times.
Palau de mar
What was once an old warehouse has been tranformed into a modern office block with shops, restaurants, bars and many other services for its visitors.
